FAQs

When should I replace the water filters?

The carbon filters in many drinking water purifiers often have a lifespan of 12-13 months. So each year or every 12 months, it’s good to replace the filters to ensure efficiency.

About my filter cartridges, how will I know when to replace them?

Time flies fast and life gets busy. However, filter cartridges need to be replaced every 12 months. To help you, we’ll send you a reminder letter on the 11th month. We’ll also do a follow-up call (a courtesy reminder) every 12-13 months.

How much space will the water filter occupy?

Our modern equipment will only occupy the same amount of space as two 1.25 litre soft drink bottles. Space saver while delivering great results.

What happens to my water filter if I move houses?

You can either disconnect the system yourself, or we’ll do it for you. We can also reinstall your water filter system and add new pipings and fittings at no extra cost. Just call us at 1300 734 156 for your enquiries.

Where are the filters made?

Our filters are American made. They are also certified by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF International).

Another company installed my water filter system, are you able to service it and accept this type of request?

No problem. Many homeowners and businesses have already called us to service their existing water filter systems. We service all brands and we have a huge range of available cartridges.

What makes Filtap™ different from all the other competitors out there? Do you also offer affordable pricing?

We offer affordable pricing because we buy directly from the manufacturers. This also ensures that all the parts and systems are of high quality. Our prices are competitive but we also ensure that you get the best value for your money. We will match any competitor’s price upon evidence that they are offering the exact same product at a cheaper price. But beware! Companies that offer deals which seem too good to be true usually are, and the filters they try and sell you are almost certainly of very poor quality, will be a non-standard size and/or will cost an exorbitant amount to replace. Filtap™ filters are tested and certified by the National Sanitation Foundation and are of a standard size.

We also offer fast and affordable services. Our skilled and experienced technicians can install and service your water filter system. You can be sure that from installation to servicing, you get the best services at affordable rates.
